There was this guy see.
He wasn't very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned "the facts".
Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,

"Son, when you get to the hotel room...Call me"

Hours later he gets to the hotel room with his beautiful blushing bride and he calls his father,

"Dad, we are the hotel, what do I do?"

"O.K. Son, listen up, take off your clothes and get in the bed, then she should take off her clothes and get in the bed, if not help her. Then either way, ah, call me"

A few moments later...

"Dad we took off our clothes and we are in the bed, what do I do?"

O.K. Son, listen up. Move real close to her and she should move real close to you, and then... Ah, call me."

A few moments later...

"DAD! WE TOOK OFF OUR CLOTHES, GOT IN THE BED AND MOVED REAL CLOSE, WHAT DO I DO???"

"O.K. Son, Listen up, this is the most important part. Stick the long part of your body into the place where she goes to the bathroom."

A few moments later...

"Dad, I've got my foot in the toilet, what do I do?"

Comment on Converting Ceiling Fan light from Intermediate(E17) to Medium base so you can use CFLs by Rich

Finally an answer. I have been on the net for several hours looking for intermediate base CFL and then looking for adapters. I thought the sockets were pressed in, but finally I found the screw. You were right, approximately 15 minutes from start to finish. Geez I am glad my father taught me respect for electricity instead of fear. The adapters I found for Medium to intermediate base were 8.00 each. This was a much easier and cheaper fix. Thanks

They do have rc airplane engines that are diesel. I've seen people put vegetable oil in them on youtube.com. I just haven't seen anyone scale up any of those engines. Let me know if you all find out anything more on your search. Thanks!

I appreciated the article. I was able to change over my E17 to E26 bases as illustrated. My coast t Lowe's was $2.96 for each base. I would suggest that the wire you use for the change over is rated at the same level as the original wiring. Otherwise you may be responsible for over loaded wiring causing a problem in the future.

I did not know that. You mac users are so cool. :-) There were 2 things keeping me from Mac. 1) slow hardware which is fixed now that they use Intel (as long as AMD exists, Intel will stay fast). 2) Incompatibility with work tools. We still have too many applications here that only work (correctly) on windows. And I would rather not run parallels.

With Mac usage ballooning it should only be a few years before most business apps are mac friendly.
